Gaslight Group, a locally-owned group of award-winning restaurants and bars in Savannah, Ga., is pleased to announce Blowin’ Smoke Southern Cantina is now offering customers fast-casual counter service for those who opt to eat on the patio/outside seating area. A rising industry trend, the fast-casual restaurant concept focuses on giving customers near instant meal delivery without the time commitment of a traditional restaurant experience.

“There's a national movement toward fast-casual restaurants that offer speed-oriented food that is still freshly prepared, high quality, and healthy,” said Brian Huskey, co-founder of the Gaslight Group. “Everyone is pressed for time, and if we can help accommodate our loyal patrons more efficiently, that is what we want to do.”

In addition to the new service changes, Blowin’ Smoke is making a shift back to its roots. When opened 11 years ago, the restaurant was favored for its in-house smoked meats and slow cooked barbecue. Over the years, the menu transitioned adding more Southwestern influences with the addition of its popular Taco Tuesdays, sandwiches, creative cocktails, and more.

“We're shaking things up a bit and giving customers more of what they love most about Blowin’ Smoke,” said Huskey. “We’ve refreshed our menu to include more in-house smoked barbecue, including whole or half slabs of pecan-smoked pork ribs, beef ribs, brisket, pulled chicken and pork. We're really excited to get back to doing what we do best; however, we will definitely continue our crowd favorite ‘Taco Tuesdays’ featuring two dollar tacos all day.”

Blowin’ Smoke’s new counter service is available at lunch and dinner (outside only), with full-service available day or night (inside only). Time-crunched customers can also order online via the Blowin’ Smoke website during regular business hours or via Waitr, a food delivery/carryout app.
