Historic Savannah Foundation Welcomes Two New Staffers

Historic Savannah Foundation (HSF) is proud to announce the addition of two new staff members: Chief Mission Officer Sue Adler and Chief Advancement Officer Nadine Mooers.

Susan Adler is an experienced nonprofit professional who specializes in community engagement, communications and fundraising.  Sue has many professional accomplishments in the local community including establishing Savannah’s Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure and fighting for Savannah’s tiniest citizens as executive director of the Savannah Chapter of the March of Dimes. She also directed community outreach events for Savannah’s Memorial Hospital, launching unique programs for the community. 

Sue holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Goucher College and a Master of Arts in elementary education and teaching from the University of South Carolina - Beaufort.

She serves on several community boards including: The Matthew Reardon Center for Autism, Horizons Savannah and the Savannah chapter of Hadassah.

Prior to joining HSF, Nadine Mooers spent the majority of her career focusing on community relations, institutional advancement, volunteerism and nonprofit work, raising millions of dollars as a professional staff person and volunteer. Mooers is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey, earning a Bachelor of Science in business and environmental studies with a concentration in public administration. Mooers was the assistant director of annual giving and alumni relations at Ramapo College, the director of institutional advancement at Immaculate Conception High School and, most recently, the director of the annual fund and events at Hilton Head Preparatory School. Additionally, she was certified in fundraising management by Columbia University in New York City.
