Kyle Barnes Joins JE Dunn Construction as Project Manager

JE Dunn Construction announced recently the hiring of Kyle Barnes as a project manager in the company’s Savannah office.

Barnes assumes overall management of assigned projects and serves as the primary day-to-day point of contact with owners and architecture teams. His responsibilities range from purchasing and subcontracting to schedule monitoring and project closeout documentation.

A former project manager in Nashville, Tennessee, where his clients and projects included Columbia State Community College, the West Campus Housing Project for University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, and the Capitol View mixed-use development in Nashville’s historic Gulch District, Barnes has worked in the industry five and a half years.

His professional affiliations have included ACE (Architecture/Construction/Engineering) Mentor Program of America, Williamson County Schools Technical Engineering Advisory Board in Tennessee, Construction Leadership Council of Nashville, and Associated Builders and Contractors.

Habitat for Humanity, Catholic HEART Workcamp, GraceWorks Ministries and Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity are among nonprofit organizations with which Barnes has volunteered.

Barnes holds a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction Sciences from Mississippi State University.
