Senior Citizens, Inc. Honored Three at 2nd Annual “Legends, Leaders, and Life Well Lived” Award Luncheon

Senior Citizens, Inc. (SCI), a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people age successfully, held the 2nd Annual “Legends,  Leaders,  and Life Well Lived” Award Luncheon yesterday at The Landings Plantation  Club.

Over 200 community leaders gathered to recognize, Dr. Linnie Darden, Jr., Richard D. Eckburg and Dr. Les Wilkes for their shining example of lives well lived. Their contributions to our community were highlighted and celebrated.

SCI is celebrating their 60th anniversary serving the greater Savannah area by providing a variety of programs including Meals  on Wheels, in-home nursing  and personal assistance, adult health care, The  Learning Center, and SAGE  private services.  They  are currently constructing the Center for Successful Aging, a faciltty that will allow them to further expand their services.
