Infinity, Inc. Competes to End Hunger and You Can Help

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Wednesday, June 12th, 2019

For two weeks ONLY, Infinity, Inc. and other technology companies and IT departments across Georgia are competing to end hunger. And you can help choose the winner.

In the fourth annual Bytes for Bites competition organized by the Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) and the Georgia Food Bank Association, technology professionals collect dry and canned goods and raise money for local food banks. In Coastal Georgia, all contributions go to America’s Second Harvest.

Businesses and individuals can fight the battle against hunger and help their favorite tech company compete in 3 simple ways: From Monday, June 10 through Friday, June 21, Infinity, Inc. will accept food at their office on Chatham Center South Drive, can arrange to come pick up your donations, and will encourage online donations using this link: https://www.classy.org/team/236104.

Every $1 given equals $9 in groceries that America’s Second Harvest can distribute here in the community, so every single dollar counts.

In 2018, 1 in 4 children in Georgia were at risk of hunger, living day to day unsure of whether the next meal would come. In 2019, that number is 1 in 5.

Our efforts make a difference.
