Savannah Jaycees Welcome New Board Members

Savannah Jaycees is pleased to announce the addition of two new members to the 2019 Board of Directors. Shannon O’Keefe joins the board as Vice President of Communications and Dan Kamykowski as Parliamentarian.

O’Keefe works as Creative Director for Abshire Public Relations. She is a graduate of The University of Georgia, and enjoys story-telling in a creative way. As the Vice President of Marketing & Communication, O’Keefe is responsible for handling all internal and external communications involving the chapter. She will oversee the chapter’s public relations, social media, newsletters, brand identity and corporate culture.

Dan Kamykowski, French teacher at H.V. Jenkins High School since 2007, will serve as Parliamentarian. Kamykowski moved to Savannah shortly after graduating from Centre College in Kentucky. The Parliamentarian is a staff appointed role by the president. His duty is to ensure all business is conducted following parliamentary procedure, and he also serves as the keeper of the constitution for the chapter.

Comprised of local young adults age 21 to 40, Savannah Jaycees’ mission is to “inspire leadership growth through community involvement.”
