Imagine a paint and sip party with all of your friends that raises money for a good cause at the same time. Painting With A Twist has two Painting With a Purpose (PWAP) events scheduled in August at the Savannah studio, located at 513 E. Oglethorpe Ave, Savannah, GA 31401, in Crawford Square Plaza.

T.E.A.L., 6-8 p.m. Aug. 6: The next PWAP paint party is from 6-8 p.m. August 6, to benefit Tell Every Amazing Lady About Ovarian Cancer (T.E.A.L.), a non-profit that raises money for ovarian cancer research and awareness programs.  The cost is $35 per person. Savannah Community Acupuncture (SCA), 2-4 p.m. Aug. 18:  PWAP will return later in the month, from 2-4 p.m. August 18, benefiting Savannah Community Acupuncture (SCA). Community acupuncture is a practical, low cost way to help people either overcome certain conditions or manage them better. The cost is $35 per person. A minimum of 50% of the proceeds will be donated. No one under 18 is permitted in this class (including infants) — no exceptions. Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early. Those arriving more than 20 minutes late will be not be allowed to paint. Painting classes are subject to change and cancellation for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
