Shayna A. Bowen Joins Bouhan Falligant as Partner

Bouhan Falligant LLP is pleased to announce Shayna A. Bowen has joined the firm as a new partner.  Bowen’s practice will focus on healthcare representing health systems, physician practice groups, nursing homes, and other healthcare providers in areas of corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters.
 
Prior to joining Bouhan Falligant, Bowen practiced with healthcare groups at several prominent law firms in both Savannah and Atlanta, advising clients in connection with mergers and acquisitions, change of ownership, employee contracts, facility development and expansion, corporate governance, physician self-referral prohibitions, Anti-Kickback issues, provider licensure, medical staff matters, pharmacy issues, HIPAA, and Medicare/Medicaid  conditions of participation, and reimbursement.  In addition, she has represented a variety of health care entities in Georgia Certificate of Need matters including applications, letters of non-reviewability, administrative hearings, appeals and judicial review.
 
Bowen earned her law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and her Bachelor of Science degree from Washington and Lee University. She serves on the Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees for St. Andrews School, is a past president of the Board of Directors for the Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire, and co-chaired the Attorneys Division for the annual campaign of the United Way of the Coastal Empire.
