Asbury Memorial Welcomes Associate Minister, Rev. Marich

The members of Asbury Memorial Church recently welcomed the Rev. Claire Marich to the church staff as Associate Minister. Rev. Marich will work alongside Rev. Billy Hester and other staff to provide leadership with ministries at the church and in the community.
“We are very excited to welcome Reverend Claire Marich as Associate Minister, and I am personally looking forward to working alongside her as Asbury Memorial continues to expand its reach in the Savannah community,” said Hester.
During her professional career in Illinois, Rev. Marich served as Spiritual Care Coordinator for Heartland Hospice, Hospital Chaplain, Hospice Chaplain, Health Insurance Consultant, Customer Service Manager and Unit Supervisor with Blue Cross Blue Shield. Her educational accomplishments include a Master's in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary, a Master of Science: Political Science, Revolution & Terrorism from Northwestern University, and a Bachelor of Arts: Political Science, English, French (minor) from Loyola University of Chicago.
Having dedicated herself to the emotional and spiritual needs of others, Rev. Marich is a Nationally Certified Dementia Practitioner, certified Gift of Hope Requestor in Illinois, and certified Stephen Leader. As Associate Pastor for Asbury Memorial, she will fill the role of clergy liaison and advisor to the following church ministries: Church and Society, Green Team, Health and Wellness, Missions, Reconciling Ministries, Adult Education and Small Group Ministries.
