The Wilderman Group announces the appointment of Kevin J. Nape as new General Manager of the Richmond Hill City Center. Nape joined the City Center in 2017 as executive chef to oversee culinary operations for one of the most respected wedding, corporate and social event venues in Coastal Georgia. Nape takes over from Beverly Cosmann, who has held the position of General Manager since 2014, and who is leaving to pursue new career opportunities.

John Wilderman, Founder of the Southeast based Wilderman Group, which manages the Richmond Hill City Center, says “Kevin has been a vital part of our team and has worked closely with Beverly to build the City Center’s business and profile, while he oversaw our culinary operations. We know that Kevin will lead the City Center team very effectively into the future.”

Matt Rodriguez, who joined the City Center in 2018 and who has worked closely with Nape will take on the day-to-day responsibilities on the culinary team reporting to the General Manager.

Kevin Nape is an award-winning chef with 35 years’ experience in the hospitality industry working his way up the ranks in a wide variety of landscapes from country clubs, hotels, fine dining establishments, convention centers and sporting events. He has been Director of Food & Beverage and an Executive chef for over 20 years, in establishments such as TCP of Deere Run, the Grand Harbor Resort, Swing of the Quad Cities, Iowa Events Center, Davenport Good Samaritan Center and Hotel Blackhawk.  Kevin Nape has successfully catered thousands of banquets and weddings, serving anywhere from two to 8,200 guests, including numerous celebrities and has successfully competed in various competitions over the years.

The new General Manager has lived in Richmond Hill for five years where he enjoys maintaining salt-water fish tanks, coaching volleyball at the Richmond Hill Recreation Center, sporting events (especially football), and cheering on his daughters at their sporting events. “I love living and working in Bryan County and am excited to take this next step in my career with the support of my excellent team at the City Center and The Wilderman Group,” comments Kevin.
