The Georgia Charter Schools Association (GCSA) is slated to host ‘The State of Georgia Charter Schools’ from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4 at Savannah Classical Academy (SCA), 705 E. Anderson Street.

All Georgia public charter school leaders and board members are invited to attend this free, annual event. Attendees will have the opportunity to network with other school leaders, receive the latest policy updates and learn more about the shared agenda for the 2020 legislative session. Participants will also receive a free lunch generously provided by a GCSA associate member. Speakers include team members and representatives from GCSA, the Georgia Department of Education (Charter Division) and the State Charter Schools Commission.

“We are looking forward to this opportunity for public charter schools across Georgia to come together and discuss ways we can continue to improve and grow each year,” said SCA Director Barry Lollis. “SCA is honored to be selected as the venue for this year’s event.”
