The Fiduciary Group Hires Kyle Powers, AIF, MBA as Director of 401(k) Advisory Services

The Fiduciary Group, a 2019 Financial Times 300 list honoree and leading wealth management firm headquartered in Savannah, Ga., recently hired Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) and U.S. Navy Reserve Commanding Officer Kyle Powers as the company’s Director of 401(k) Advisory Services.
 
In his new position, Powers works with companies to develop strategic, well-rounded 401(k) plans and to help their employees save for retirement, offering participant financial education and individual counseling. He brings more than a decade of financial planning experience to his position at The Fiduciary Group and is a Registered Series 6, 7, 63, 65, Life and Health Securities Representative.

Before joining The Fiduciary Group, Powers served as a financial advisor with the Measured Wealth Private Client Group, LLC, in Boca Raton, Fla., where he managed 401(k) plans and oversaw retirement plan generation for the firm’s other financial advisors. He also acted as the firm’s director of operations and was responsible for developing and implementing firm-level strategic initiatives and software technology.  
 
Earlier in his career, Powers worked in Wells, Maine, as financial advisor with First Command Financial Planning, where he helped military-affiliated individuals, families and small businesses achieve financial goals. He led the firm’s New England District for new client development.
 
Powers is a military veteran with 18 years of combined active and reserve duty in the U.S. Navy. He currently is a Commander in the Navy Reserves and a Surface Warfare Officer.
 
Originally from Wells, Maine, Powers earned a B.A. from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, and an MBA in Quality Leadership degree from St. Joseph’s College of Maine in Standish, Maine. He currently resides in Savannah, Ga.
