Harris Lowry Manton LLP, an award-winning, full-service trial law firm with offices in Atlanta and Savannah, recently promoted Yvonne S. Godfrey and Madeline E. McNeeley from Associates to Partners.

Yvonne S. Godfrey practices law in the areas of product liability, personal injury, wrongful death and whistleblower litigation and is the co-host of the Great Trials Podcast, which features weekly interviews with America’s top trial lawyers. Prior to joining Harris Lowry Manton LLP in 2013, she worked as a staff attorney for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
 
Godfrey currently serves on the editorial board of Verdict, a publication of the Georgia Trial Lawyers Association (GTLA). She is a member of the GTLA Executive Committee and the Young Alumni/Alumnae Committee for the University of Georgia School of Law. She is also a member of the American Association for Justice, Southern Trial Lawyers Association and American Bar Association.
 
Godfrey graduated cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as notes editor on the Georgia Law Review and as a research assistant to Dean Peter B. Rutledge. She also earned a B.A. in English Literature from Rhodes College in Memphis, Tenn. In 2014, she was selected to be a member of the GTLA LEAD Program.
 
Madeline E. McNeeley advocates for individuals and families in product liability, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury and appellate litigation. Prior to joining Harris Lowry Manton LLP in 2011, she worked as a clerk for the Hon. Peter T. Fay of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and as a staff attorney to the Eleventh Circuit.
 
McNeeley graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 2008, where she was executive editor of the Tennessee Law Review and served on the University of Tennessee Pro Bono Executive Board. She was selected to the Order of the Coif and received the Cunningham Excellence in Legal Writing Award. McNeeley earned B.A. and B.S. degrees, magna cum laude, from the University of Tennessee and an M.S. degree from the University of Maryland. She publishes and speaks frequently on litigation tactics and emerging legal issues.
 
McNeeley was selected in 2016 for the GTLA LEAD Program and is a member of GTLA’s Amicus Curiae Committee. She also serves on the University of Tennessee College of Law Alumni Council, the State Bar of Georgia’s Bar Center Committee and the State Practice and Legislation Committee of the State Bar’s Appellate Practice Section. She is a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, Tennessee Bar Association, Southern Trial Lawyers Association and American Association for Justice.
