Atlantic Celebrates Birthday in Culinary Style with Week of Food & Wine Events November 4th-9th

Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Monday, November 4th, 2019

Atlantic, an intimate and laid-back neighborhood eatery, will celebrate its third anniversary since reviving a 1930s filling station located at the corner of Victory Drive and Drayton Street in Savannah’s eclectic Starland District. In true culinary style, the tight-knit team behind Atlantic’s magic put together a week of wine takeovers, seasonal new menu items, patio parties and more on November 4-9, 2019.

“Since opening Atlantic, we’ve spent the last three years serving heart and soul sustenance, exquisite wines, refreshing cocktails, and carefully-selected craft beers with genuine hospitality,” said Jason Restivo, owner of Atlantic. “Our customers are very much a part of Atlantic’s story and share in our excitement over delicious and adventurous cuisine. We are truly humbled by their loyalty and love of what we’ve built here.”

A sommelier with more than two decades of culinary and fine dining experience, Restivo and his wife, Jennifer, revived a corner of Savannah’s historic fabric with a restaurant beholden to only one promise to its guests: “Good food does not have to be luxury,” said Restivo. “We are proud of the part we play in the neighborhood, bringing families and friends together in a place of comfort where the food is fresh, we have no freezers, and created from sources with whom we enjoy actual relationships.”

To kick off the week of birthday festivities, Atlantic will be serving up raw and fire-roasted Harris Neck Oysters from E.L. McIntosh and Son’s in Darien, Ga. Additional menu specials will rotate throughout the week to join a refreshed menu that will include guest favorites such as the whole roasted fish, mushroom pâté, lobster roll, and bacon-wrapped dates.
