Families are invited to bring their little ones for a holiday paint party and photos with Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus from the Pooler Lions Club at Painting With A Twist studios in Pooler and in Savannah.

There are two events:

From 1-3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 1 at the Pooler studio, which is located at 107 Grand Central Blvd., Suite 205, off Pooler Parkway.

From 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Savannah studio, which is located at 512 E. Oglethorpe Ave, Savannah, GA 31401, in Crawford Square Plaza.

The cost is $37 per person. Paint parties are ideal for children 8 and older. However, little ones also are welcome to attend. An entertaining art instructor will lead a step-by-step painting of colorful winter holiday scenes on 16x20 canvases.

At the end of the class, Santa Claus and Mrs. Claus will be available to pose for photos with families. The holiday celebrity couple is provided by volunteers from the Pooler Lions Club, a non-profit volunteer organization that aims to improve the lives of visually impaired children and families. They conduct vision screenings, equip hospitals and clinics, distribute medicine and raise awareness of eye disease.

Attendees are encouraged to arrive 30 minutes early. Those arriving more than 20 minutes late will not be allowed to paint. Painting classes are subject to change and cancellation for unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified prior to class time and refunds will be processed.
