Colony Bank is pleased to announce the promotion of Preston Laird to Producing Market Manager for the Bank’s Savannah market.
 
Laird has 12 years of banking experience, including serving as a Commercial Banker at Colony Bank from 2011 to 2013. Immediately prior to rejoining Colony Bank earlier this year, he served for six years with United Community Bank and Certainty Home Loans as a mortgage originator.  His banking experience also includes serving in retail banking with BB&T and as Branch Manager for The Coastal Bank of Savannah.

We welcome him to his new role with Colony Bank as we grow the Savannah/Statesboro market under his leadership.”
 
Laird has a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University. He and his wife Krissie have two daughters, Mary Leighton, age 7, and Madelyn, age 4. Since moving to Savannah 10 years ago, Laird has been very active in the community and is an affiliate member of the local board of realtors, home builders association and mortgage bankers association.
