Philanthropic Coastal Georgia residents will show their moves on the dance floor for one exciting evening to raise funds for the Alzheimer's Association, Georgia Chapter. The event, Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia, will take place on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at the Savannah International Trade Center.

This year's Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia local celebrity dancers include Jordan Grainger, Ashleigh Ray, Martina Kolovich, Joe Iannocone, Heather Jackson, Andrew Cosey, Frederick Bergen, Forrest Floyd and Tammy Frye.

Mirroring the popular TV show, this event pairs local Coastal Georgia residents with professional dancers to raise money by gaining votes in a one-night gala dance competition. Supporters can vote online for their favorite dancer prior to the event. In 2019, Dancing Stars of Coastal Georgia raised over $342,000 for Alzheimer’s care, support and research programs with the Alzheimer’s Association. 2019 winners included Judge’s Choice winner Morgan Crolley and pro dancer Alfredo Horna. Raising more than $70,000, Jim Meyers and pro dancer Catherine Grant took home the People’s Choice, Audience Choice and Stars’ Choice Awards.
