Calvary Day School Hosts 2020 Dancing with the Calvary Stars Fundraising Event Friday, March 6th

The Calvary Day School “Celebrity” Dancers are returning to the Calvary campus for a dinner and dancing fundraiser on Friday, March 6, 2020, at 6:00 p.m. to benefit the school’s campus security initiatives.

Tickets to this year’s event are $50 and include dinner provided by Sundae Cafe and a ticket to the dancing competition, being held in the Calvary Gym. The Dancing “Stars” participating in the 2020 event include Calvary students, teachers and alumni who want to support their school’s efforts to keep the campus safe. 

Dancers include:

Anna Barron, Calvary elementary teacher who has loved ballroom dancing ever since she took a class in high school, will be dancing with Calvary Senior Austin Herriott. 

Lindsae Echols, former PTO president and current mother to three Calvary students, will cut a rug with Alfredo Horna of the Salon de Baile in Savannah. 

Calvary Math Teacher Seth Hargrove will do a hip hop routine with Calvary Senior Jaycee Hughes. 

Calvary Alumna Tracey Wardlaw-Grassi, mother to six Calvary alumni, will dance with William from the Salon de Baile. 

Alex Whittaker Linder, 2010 Calvary graduate, will boogie with Cavalier History faculty member Mike Carswell. 

Allstate Insurance professional and Calvary parent, Terry Carter, is set to dance with Rachel Moore of Salon de Baile.

And last, but not least, Catharine Thomas, a former teacher at Calvary and mother to four Calvary alumni, will take a spin around the dance floor with Calvary Development Director Gordon Hunter.
