Queensborough National Bank & Trust Forms Coastal Advisory Board

Queensborough National Bank & Trust Co. has formed the Coastal Advisory Board to support the bank’s leadership.
According to the advisory board’s charter, the group will serve as a “source of information, expertise and business development within the community” and will have members from various business backgrounds throughout the area.
“I am honored to have these local business and community leaders working to help us grow in the Coastal Region,” said Mike English, Queensborough’s senior vice president of the Coastal Region.
Members of the advisory board are appointed by the bank’s board of directors for three-year terms and will meet quarterly. According to its charter, the advisory board’s tasks include:
Informing the bank board of directors on economic conditions, community development and other activities affecting the community.
Providing expertise to the board on business matters.
Participating in business development.
Building and promoting a positive image of the bank.
“This group brings a wealth of expertise and regional knowledge that will enable us to better serve our existing customers and attract new relationships,” English said.

Troy Baird, founder of Baird Transport and Elite Concrete
Robert L. McCorkle III, an attorney and partner in the firm McCorkle and Johnson LLP
Kathryn Murph, the president of ABR, a locally owned copier dealership in Savanah
Miller Glover, CPA, a partner in Coastal Consulting Management Group
Scott Rasplicka, chairman and CEO of Delta Metals
Brett Goodwin, vice president of commercial lines at Bernard Williams & Co.
Gary Wiggin, founder and president of Better Life Properties
Amy Brock, owner of Amy Brock Marketing, co-owner of a psychiatry practice
Rebecca Benton, mayor of Pooler
Lori Judge, founder and Broker Judge Realty and co-founder of Yaupon Teahouse
Joe Marchese, owner of Marchese Construction
