The Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee will serve Union Mission clients a special “green” breakfast at Grace House (120 Fahm Street, Savannah, GA 31401) on Tuesday, March 3, 2020 from 7:00 – 8:00 am.
Grace House of Union Mission is a thirty-two (32) bed emergency shelter for homeless men that provides basic human needs services such as shelter, food and clothing for up to 90 days with the overall goal of helping clients end their homelessness. Grace House also offers an array of individualized services to support stability and independence, including: access to mental healthcare, employment support and specialized training, transportation and community referrals.
“Grace House is more than a warm bed and a hot meal. It’s a mission to create a foundation of stability and then build upon it by offering tailored services to help people regain their independence,” said Patricia Youngquist, Executive Director of Union Mission. “Our clients are working hard to change their lives, and we are very grateful to the Savannah St. Patrick’s Day Parade Committee for bringing a little fun and festivity to their day.”
