The Eichholz Law Firm recently invited the public to nominate local small businesses that have demonstrated an outstanding commitment to the community during the COVID-19 pandemic. The firm is excited to announce the winner of this contest is local restaurant the 5 Spot Neighborhood Kitchen & Bar.

After closing its dining room due to the pandemic, the 5 Spot quickly adapted its business to safely serve customers to-go meals, offering curbside takeout and adding delivery services. The 5 Spot team
then expanded service further by bringing its food trailer to different neighborhoods upon request. The 5 Spot has even added a special $5 item on its to-go menu called “Meals for Medical,” offering free delivery to medical personnel and first responders.

The 5 Spot team has shown incredible dedication to its customers and community, working long hours to keep up with increased demand. And in an effort to keep restaurant guests and staff safe during these uncertain times, they made the difficult decision to keep their dining room closed for the time being rather than reopen as permitted last week.
