Live Oak Public Libraries announces Sarah J. Zeigler as Director of Collection Management.

Sarah J. Zeigler joined Live Oak Public Libraries (LOPL) as Supervisor of Collection Management in March 2019 and was named Interim Director of Collection Management in July 2022. Prior to her arrival at LOPL, she was Access Services Librarian for Savannah Law School/Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School.

Zeigler oversees the Collection Management department and is responsible for the selection, acquisition, and cataloging of all print materials and electronic resources as well as interlibrary loan and collection development policies and procedures.

Zeigler has worked in libraries for more than 12 years. She holds a Master of Library and Information Science from the University of South Carolina at Columbia and a Bachelor of Liberal Studies with an English Literature minor from Georgia Southern University (formerly Armstrong State University).
