Asbury Memorial Church has announced the theme for their annual “Discovery on Adventure Island” Vacation Bible School (VBS) taking place June 1-5, 2025, from 5:30-8:30 p.m. at Asbury Memorial’s Campus located at 1008 East Henry Street in Savannah, GA.  

During the weeklong program for children who have completed grades K–5, kids will enjoy an energizing, Bible-based good time as they learn how God’s light shines in the world and in each of us. Children can embark on a journey of faith and fun guided by the faithful lighthouse keeper and lovable puppet Beacon. This  fun-filled journey of faith through games, crafts, music, and engaging Bible stories are open at the cost of $10 per child and a $20 maximum for families; scholarships are also available. 

“We are beyond excited for this year’s VBS adventure as it is a wonderful way for children in our community to have fun and gain invaluable knowledge along the way,” said Youth Director, Chris Kincade. “We encourage anyone interested in registering their child to reach out and join in!”
