City Of Port Wentworth Hosts Groundbreaking For Parker’s Kitchen New Store Prototype

Today, the City of Port Wentworth hosted a groundbreaking for a new Parker’s Kitchen store prototype that will be officially open to the public in late 2025. The new Parker’s Kitchen store will be located at 132 Hwy. 30, a high-profile location at the intersection of Hwy. 21 and Hwy. 30 in Port Wentworth.

City Manager Steve Davis and other city leadership, Mayor Pro Tem Gabby Nelson, Council Members Thomas Barbee, Shawn Randerwala, Rufus Bright, and Mark Stephens, residents, and local business leaders gathered to commemorate this exciting addition to the Port Wentworth community. Following the groundbreaking, attendees enjoyed Parker’s Kitchen refreshments and viewed renderings of the new storefront.

“We are thrilled to welcome this new version of the Parker’s Kitchen we all know and love to our city,” said Port Wentworth City Manager Steve Davis. “We are excited that Parker’s chose our city to launch this new prototype – it is exactly the kind of growth we love to see.” 

At 6,065 square feet, this expanded Parker’s Kitchen format will combine upscale design with modern amenities. The new store will feature an expanded retail area and fresh Parker's Kitchen food selection designed to serve today’s busy customers with quality, speed and style. Outside, the site spans 4+ acres, ensuring ease of access and maximum maneuverability. The store’s architecture will proudly showcase Parker's Kitchen's signature Lowcountry style, featuring elegant limewashed brick and thoughtfully curated finishes that elevate the standard for convenience store design.
