‘This Is Our Home’: Savannah Roller Derby League Searches For New Venue

The quirky castle that sits on Mall Boulevard in Savannah has been a place of enjoyment for almost 2 decades. After news of the owner’s retirement, roller rink junkies have been sharing some of their favorite memories.
One community in particular that has more memories in the rink than bruises on their bodies is the Savannah Derby Devils. The League of Roller Derby in Savannah dates back to 2006 with just a few of the founding members. Almost 20 years later, and the roller derby community in Savannah has exploded.
