Ann Bentley Joins Live Oak Public Libraries as Director of Public Services

Live Oak Public Libraries is pleased to announce that Ann Bentley has joined as its Director of Public Services.
Bentley was most recently Library Area Manager for the City of Albuquerque Public Library System and has more than ten years of professional public library management experience in various capacities.
She received her Master of Library & Information Science degree (MLIS) from the University of North Texas, after earning a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature.
Prior to her career in the public libraries sector, Bentley was an educator and also a book retailer.
In her new role, Bentley oversees all Live Oak Public Libraries branch staff and operations within the three county system.
“We are excited to have Ann join LOPL,” said Lola DeWitt, Executive Director. “I had the pleasure of working with her in New Mexico years ago.
“Ann and I share the same passion for delivering an elevated customer experience, as well as building and maintaining a culture of excellence among our branch staff. She’s a real asset to our leadership team and to her staff.”
