Children's Hospital of Savannah to Host CURE Childhood Cancer Ice Cream Social

The Dwaine and Cynthia Willett Children’s Hospital of Savannah will host a private ice cream social for pediatric cancer patients and their families on Thursday, September 11, from 4 to 5:15 p.m. The event, held in celebration of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, will take place in the Sunshine Park and Healing Garden, adjacent to the hospital.

The social will feature complimentary Leopold's Ice Cream. CURE is honored to announce Chatham Orthopaedic Associates as a first-time sponsor for this year's event. Their heartfelt support will provide the treats and activities that will make this a memorable day for all the children and families attending.

During the event, Memorial Health, a long-standing partner in supporting pediatric oncology research and patient programs, will present a generous donation to CURE Childhood Cancer.
