Junior League Of Savannah Supports Local Teachers With Annual “Find The Good Day” Classroom Wishlist Giveaway
Monday, August 4th, 2025
The Junior League of Savannah is celebrating its third annual "Find the Good Day" by uplifting local educators and helping them kick off the school year with a fully stocked classroom.
Teachers from Bryan, Bulloch, Chatham, Effingham, and Liberty counties in Georgia, as well as Beaufort and Jasper counties in South Carolina, are invited to apply for a chance to have their classroom wishlists fulfilled. From books and basic supplies to hands-on learning tools, this initiative aims to meet the unique needs of each classroom and empower teachers to focus on what they do best: shaping the future.
In honor of the League’s Centennial Year, 10 teachers will be chosen through a random drawing to receive up to $150 worth of classroom supplies from their wishlists.
“'Find the Good Day' gives us a meaningful way to live out our mission by directly supporting educators, investing in youth, and strengthening our community partnerships,” said Mary Beth Kennedy, President of the Junior League of Savannah. “Thanks to a grant from the Association of Junior Leagues International, we’re proud to double the number of teacher wishlists we’re fulfilling this year. It’s one of many ways our League is showing up with heart and purpose during our Centennial Year.”
Educators can apply by filling out a brief online form and submitting either a link to their wishlist or a document outlining their top needs by August 18. Selected teachers will be notified by August 27 and will be able to pick up their items on September 8.
