Lesley Francis Public Relations (LFPR) has appointed Genelle Williams as its new account manager. In this role, Williams will work with LFPR's client-facing teams, managing projects and developing media releases and articles. She will also build relationships with local media, generate coverage for client stories, and handle email marketing, social media, and event organization.

Williams is from Greenville, South Carolina, and has lived in the Savannah area for more than a decade. She has strong ties to the journalism community, having previously worked as a government beat reporter for the Jasper County Sun Times and as an editor for SunSations community magazine. Her most recent position was as a senior communication specialist at Sun City Hilton Head Community Association.

Williams currently serves as the vice president of the Society of Professional Journalists Georgia. Her other experience includes working as a page in the South Carolina Senate, contributing as a writer for the Simpsonville Sentinel, and interning at the Anderson Independent Mail.

Williams said she is delighted to join LFPR and believes her editorial background will be an asset in strategic public relations. She also expressed her excitement to work for "the legendary Lesley Francis."
