Hussey Gay Bell announces the appointment of Doug Roberts, AIA, LEED AP, as a Principal, expanding the firm’s leadership team.

“Doug’s leadership and long-standing contributions have played an important role in Hussey Gay Bell’s continued success,” said G. Holmes Bell IV, PE, CEO. “His experience and expertise will support the firm’s long-term strategic objectives.”

Roberts joined Hussey Gay Bell in 2018 and serves as a Senior Project Manager and Architect in the firm’s Savannah architectural studio. He brings nearly 30 years of experience delivering commercial, educational, governmental, health care and industrial projects across the Southeast, with a strong focus on managing complex projects from planning through construction.

He is actively involved in community and civic organizations and currently serves as President of the Wilmington Park Swim Team and Boosters Chair for the Savannah Arts Swim Team. He is also a member of the Leadership Savannah Class of 2023.

Roberts holds a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Tennessee and a Master of Business Administration from William Carey University. He is a Registered Architect in the State of Georgia and a LEED Accredited Professional.
