Senior Citizens Inc. (SCI), the nonprofit organization dedicated to helping people age successfully in Coastal Georgia, is pleased to announce that nominations are now open for the 2026 Legends, Leaders & Lives Well Lived Awards. Community members may submit nominations through January 16, 2026.

These awards honor older adults whose lives reflect exceptional character, meaningful service, and a lasting impact on the community. Honorees may embody leadership, dedication, philanthropy, purpose, or the quiet influence of a life lived with integrity. SCI recognizes those whose contributions — whether public or behind the scenes — have strengthened and inspired the community and are the personification of a life well lived.

The awards will be presented at SCI’s annual Legends, Leaders & Lives Well Lived Luncheon on May 14, 2026, at The Palmetto Club at The Landings.

“These awards celebrate the people who make Coastal Georgia a stronger, kinder, and more vibrant place to live,” said Patti Lyons, President of Senior Citizens Inc.  “Whether through leadership, service, generosity, or the example of a life well lived, our honorees show us what it means to uplift others. We invite the community to help us recognize these extraordinary individuals.”
