Senior Citizens Inc. (SCI), the coastal Georgia nonprofit dedicated to helping people age successfully at home, is proud to announce that Chatham Parkway Subaru has selected SCI as its 2025 Hometown Charity Partner for the annual Subaru Share the Love® Event.

Through this nationwide campaign, Subaru of America and its participating retailers will donate a minimum of $300 to Meals on Wheels America—or local programs such as SCI—for every new Subaru purchased or leased from November 20, 2025, through January 2, 2026.

For SCI, these funds directly support Meals on Wheels, which provides nutritious meals, daily wellness checks, and vital social connection to homebound older adults across Coastal Georgia.

“We are deeply honored that Chatham Parkway Subaru chose Senior Citizens Inc. as their hometown partner,” said Patti Lyons, President of SCI.  “Their support helps our Meals on Wheels program reach more seniors with the nutrition, care, and daily human connection they need to remain safe at home.”

Since 2008, the Subaru Share the Love Event has helped deliver nearly 5 million meals nationwide, strengthening community-based senior nutrition programs like SCI’s.

SCI Encourages Community Participation in “Stuff the Subaru” Donation Drive

In support of the Share the Love initiative, Chatham Parkway Subaru will host a “Stuff the Subaru” donation drive to help meet urgent needs among SCI clients:

Requested items include:

• Pet food

• Ensure or Boost nutritional drinks

• Pop-top canned foods

• Granola bars & single-serve nuts
  
  

All collected items will be distributed directly to older adults served by SCI — including pet companions who play a crucial role in reducing loneliness and providing emotional comfort.
