AJ Picken Achieves Registered Professional Engineer Status

Hussey Gay Bell is pleased to announce that AJ Picken has earned his Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Georgia, marking an important step in his professional growth and engineering career.
Since joining the firm’s Savannah office in 2024, Picken has contributed to a diverse portfolio of projects serving public, industrial, commercial and institutional clients. His project experience includes the Hyundai LG Battery Plant, the GPA Port Police Headquarters, City of Pooler Wastewater Treatment Plant Expansion to 6.223 MGD, Georgia Southern University Wiggins Baseball Complex and other industrial, commercial and public-sector projects throughout the region. Now serving as a Project Engineer, Picken is responsible for the planning, design and construction observation of reinforced concrete, masonry, steel and wood structures and their foundations.

Picken holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Georgia.
