CAT Announces Student Pass Information for the 2026-2027 School Year

Chatham Area Transit Authority (CAT) shared an important update for riders, parents, and guardians regarding student transit passes for the 2026–2027 school year.
CAT said the previous zero-fare student pass partnership between CAT and the Savannah-Chatham County Public School System (SCCPSS) has concluded. As a result, students who ride CAT to and from school are required to purchase CAT’s discounted student fare beginning this school year.
Student fares remain available at a reduced rate of $0.75 per ride or $25.00 per month.
