The Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce and Visit Savannah have announced the promotion of Erica Backus to Vice President of Communications.

Backus has served the organizations for several years, helping lead communications, public relations, and storytelling efforts that highlight Savannah’s business community and visitor economy. In her expanded role, she will continue to develop strategic communications, strengthen relationships with media and community partners, and support initiatives that advance the missions of both the Chamber and Visit Savannah.
