Savannah Mayor Van Johnson said the city has received multiple complaints from residents who believe smart water meters are incorrectly charging households for water usage.
Johnson addressed the issue on Tuesday, encouraging residents to reach out to the city’s Smart Water Meter Team to review their individual accounts—something he said he recently had to do himself.
