Aetho’s Aeon stabilizer for GoPro is past the halfway point of reaching its funding goal with over a month left in the campaign.

Aeon is a feature-rich filmmaking tool for producing buttery smooth, cinematic GoPro footage. The startup is putting an end to boring videos with a robotic handheld stabilizer that keeps your camera steady so you may run, jump and move about freely and still get a perfectly stable shot every time.

Aeon is packed with a few punches, including:

-  A flush-mounted LCD screen for framing out each shot

-  A gamepad-like joystick that pans and tilts to keep focus on your subject

-  Long-lasting batteries that charges the GoPro while filming

-  A built-in action mount for attaching other GoPro accessories

The company launched on the Indiegogo crowdfunding platform September 29. The Early Bird price package of $299 is sold out, but they are offering an Extended Early Bird at $319 - $30 savings from the $349 introductory price point.
