Ashleigh Place Senior Living in Richmond Hill Ribbon Cutting Oct. 21st

Ashleigh Place Senior Apartments, a new 80-unit affordable housing development located at 11 Plantation Way in Richmond Hill, will hold its Grand Opening Celebration on Wednesday, October 21 beginning at 11:30 a.m.  The program will feature a ribbon cutting by Richmond Hill Mayor Harold Fowler, and Richmond Hill/Bryan County Chamber of Commerce,  followed by a catered fried chicken and BBQ lunch on the lawn and tours of the new apartments and community spaces. In addition, Ashleigh Place will demonstrate the new telemedicine equipment that will be available to all residents.

A special part of the Grand Opening is a Senior Info Expo.  Exhibitors from a dozen or more senior service providers will distribute educational information and product samples during and after lunch      Ashleigh Place is a tax-credit property developed by The Humanities Foundation of Mt. Pleasant, SC.  Seniors 55 and older qualify for residency based on their annual gross income.

In addition to one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, Ashleigh Place includes a computer center, library, community living room, exercise room, arts and crafts room, resident garden plots, laundry facilities, and a community food pantry for residents.
