The City of Savannah is a proud sponsor of the U.S. Green Building Council Savannah Branch. The USGBC Savannah Branch will soon host its annual Green Gives Back event, to raise awareness and funds for a local cause to benefit from green building implementation.

This year’s Green Gives Back event will benefit Jacob G. Smith Elementary with the design and construction of a bioswale and educational garden. Green Gives Back will be held on Thursday, October 22 beginning at 6 p.m. at Tubby’s Tankhouse in Thunderbolt. The event will have food, live music, and a raffle. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $30 at usgbcga.org/savannah or at the door for $40.
