Staff Report From Savannah CEO

Thursday, October 22nd, 2015

The Enmarket Encourage Health Series announces plans for the fourth and final program for the 2015 lectures on Tuesday, October 27. Kelley J. Boyd, founder and teacher at Savannah Yoga Center, presents “10 Yoga Tips: Hectic to Harmonious in 5 Minutes or Less.”

This Enmarket Encourage Health presentation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Auditorium of the Savannah Morning News, located at 1375 Chatham Parkway in Savannah. Attendance is free and open to the public. Attendees will enjoy a healthy lunch made possible by local business sponsors. RSVPs are required at Healthy Savannah’s website, www.healthysavannah.org

“It is indeed an honor to close out the enmarket series this year, and I promise to provide some inspiring tips that can immediately be put into action,” said Boyd. “A top tip for all of us is to consciously breathe. It is the first thing you do when you are born and the last thing you do when you expire. Breathing is your longest and most intimate friend.”

At Boyd’s lecture, the Forsyth Farmer’s Market will be awarded the Encourage Health grant. The FFM organization affirms it “envisions a sustainable, local food system that promotes the health of individuals, farmers and the community.” On Saturday, October 24, the Forsyth Farmer’s Market will hold their enmarket Dollar Day.
