WHAT:           Halloween Trick or Treating for the children

WHEN:           2.30 p.m., Friday, October 30           

WHERE:         Media will meet in main lobby at Memorial Health

WHY: For the 26th year in a row, patients at The Children’s Hospital will be able to celebrate Halloween. This year, departments and volunteers from throughout the Memorial Health family will wind their way throughout the children’s hospital as they trick or treat in the children’s rooms during this fun occasion. Last year the children received candy, toys, coloring books, mugs, and other fun Halloween goodies. Special guest will be actress McKenna Grace who is currently filming the movie The Gift on Tybee Island. McKenna is also the celebrity ambassador for the Starlight Foundation.  The Starlight Foundation is a global charity that partners with experts to improve the life and health of kids and families around the world.
