Savannah Technical College has selected Devin R. Haus as its Department Head for Air Conditioning Technology. In this role, Haus is responsible for oversight of all instruction, curriculum development, administrative and budgetary aspects for the College’s Air Conditioning program.

Haus holds an associate degree in electrical and electronic technology from Mineral Area College in Park Hills, Mo. He has more than two decades of experience with HVAC as a service and installation technician, HVAC technician, and director of maintenance.

Haus learned HVAC first from his father, who ran his own business for years. As soon as he was big enough to pick up a screwdriver, he started asking questions about what his dad was doing, rather than just handing him tools. By the time Devin graduated from high school, he was making service calls for his dad’s business. Haus is an EPA-certified technician and has certification in TracPipe Flexible Gas Piping, and Missouri Popane Gas. He has also completed Honeywell Pneumatic Control Training.
