Hospice Savannah Receives Proceeds from Two Golf Tournaments

The 2015 Hospice Savannah Golf Tournament, presented by USI Insurance Services at The Landings Clubs’ Plantation Course raised $10,500 to benefit the hospice’s Daily Impact Fund, making a difference each and every day in the lives of their patients. Vice President and Senior Client Executive at USI, Daniel R. Sims, Jr., who served as the event chairman, presented the check to the Hospice Savannah Board during their monthly meeting on Thursday, October 22.

President and CEO, Debra Anthony Larson, was also presented with a check for $5,275 on October 26 from the 12th annual Robbie Smith Golf Outing held in honor of a sports-loving young man who died under Hospice Savannah’s care in 1992. His father Robert Smith, brother Kevin Ainsworth and friend Steve Proctor presented the check from the August event held at The Club at Savannah Harbor.
