On October 23rd, JCB was recognized as the 2015-Mid Sized Company TAG Excalibur award winner. The annual TAG Excalibur Awards celebrate Georgia companies and organizations that demonstrate the best use of technology to solve complex issues and processes that impact their operations. JCB was awarded for its work with JCB FieldCommand, a program developed by the IT, Marketing/Salesforce and National Accounts team to support large fleets.

JCB FieldCommand provides instant visibility when a machine goes down. A case is then created in JCB FieldCommand through Salesforce which interfaces with a GPS software system that provides Service Team Member locations. The case is then sent to the nearest technician. The real time visibility of both technician and down machines allows active management of large fleets to maximize uptime.

“The feedback we’ve received on JCB FieldCommand has been overwhelmingly positive and we’re honored that TAG has recognized this development through the Excalibur Award,” says Steve Fox, JCB Vice President of National Accounts. “Our customers appreciate this out of the box solution that has already made a significant impact on their businesses by helping to keep their fleets up and running. In fact, the program has been so successful we will be introducing it on a global scale for use by the rest of JCB’s business units.”

The sold-out ceremony was held in Atlanta, GA at the Georgia Aquarium and attended by technology and business leaders from around the state. Awards were given in the following categories: Public/Non-Profit, Small Company, Mid-Sized Company, Enterprise Company and Most Creative Solution.

“We are very pleased to recognize innovative companies in Georgia, like JCB, for their outstanding use of technology to address key business issues and complex problems,” said Tino Mantella, President & CEO of TAG. “We believe celebrating these tech-enabled companies and organizations in both the non- and for- profit sectors will strengthen Georgia’s position as a national leader in technology.”
