‘Revolutionary Perspectives’ Series to Conclude with 18th Century Creativity

Coastal Heritage Society is pleased to invite you to attend our final lecture of the Fall Revolutionary Perspectives series entitled “Revolutionary Diversions: Painting, Music and Pastimes of the American Revolution,” to be held on Tuesday, October 27 at Savannah History Museum, 303 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. The event will lead with a reception at 6:30 pm and commence with the presentation at 7pm.

The lecture will focus on the entertainments and recreations of the late 18th century in North America from a civilian perspective. This discussion will be presented by Dr. Chris Hendricks, Professor of History from Armstrong State University. Dr. Hendricks earned his PhD in history from The College of William and Mary in Virginia and is a former interpreter at Colonial Williamsburg. His background in early American history provides a rich framework for this educational talk.

The lecture is free and open to the general public.
