Savannah Business Hall of Fame Laureates Announced

Longtime Savannah businessman Curtis Lewis III, citizen advocate Linda Zoller and Dr. Michael Zoller and have been named as laureates for the 16th annual Savannah Business Hall of Fame that will be Nov. 10 at the Savannah International Trade and Convention Center.
Junior Achievement of Georgia-Coastal Region, along with Colonial Group Inc., will host this year’s hall of fame, where inductees will be honored for their business accomplishments and their contributions to the community.
Lewis has practiced law for more than 30 years in Savannah and is president of Lewis Enterprises. He has served in a number of leadership roles, including chairman of the boards of Union Mission and Memorial Health.
Lewis was instrumental in starting the J.C. Lewis Primary Health Center, the Nancy N. and J.C. Lewis Cancer Center at St. Joseph’s/Candler Hospital and, most recently, the J.C. Lewis Primary Health Care Pediatric Center.
Linda Zoller was one of the founders of the Ronald McDonald House and has served as chairman of the Youth Futures Authority, a state-legislated authority that recognizes the importance of early childhood development and addresses issues relevant to families, youth and children.
Michael Zoller has served as chairman of the United Way of the Coastal Empire and president of the Savannah Jewish Foundation.
“The commitment to their community and ability to inspire are just a few things these inductees show our children and is a large part of being successful,” said Johnathon Barrett, vice president of JA of Georgia. “I think our inductees show great passion in what they do, leaving a positive impression on the lives of young people.”
The Savannah Business Hall of Fame will begin at 6 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring a silent auction. A three-course dinner and the awards ceremony will follow with more than 500 guests expected.
