Sparks Joins First Citizens Bank as Savannah Market Executive

Rob Sparks has joined First Citizens Bank as its Savannah market executive.
 
His responsibilities include leading the company’s banking initiatives in the Savannah area and overseeing the First Citizens office atWest St. Julian Street, where he is based.
 
Sparks has 13 years of commercial banking experience in the Savannah area. He joins First Citizens from Wells Fargo, where he served as a vice president and principal business banker and was responsible for managing, consulting and growing new and existing client relationships. His professional experience also includes management, credit analysis and commercial underwriting in a wide array of business industries.
 
A Savannah native, Sparks received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Georgia and is a graduate of the Southeastern School of Commercial Lending. He is actively involved in the community through participation on various nonprofit boards.
 
Sparks replaces Reeves Skeen who was recently selected as First Citizens’ southern coastal area executive. Skeen is responsible for the bank’s operations in Metro Charleston, North Charleston, Beaufort, Moncks Corner as well as Savannah. He is now based in Charleston.
